TIP Tuesday!

Featuring Copaiba
on Tuesday 8.5.14

TIP 1: This oil is nicknamed a "magnifier". It has the ability to magnify the properties of another oil when used in layers. This allows you to use LESS of an oil but get a stronger impact from it. This is really nice if the oil you want to magnify is expensive!

TIP 2: Inflammation in the body is generally not a good thing. One of the properties of copaiba is that it is a strong anti-inflammatory, especially helpful with arthritis and rheumatism.

TIP 3: Historically, people from Peru and Brazil used copaiba for kidney and bladder disorders.

TIP 4: Copaiba is a great oil for pain. Whether its knees hurting from growing pain or the pain from a sprain or other strain, copaiba may be an oil to try.

TIP 5: Because of copaiba's ability to help you deal with pain, inflammation, irritation and  even depression, it's easy to understand why Gary Young had it added to the following three blends: Deep relief, Breathe Again and Stress Away.

Properties of Copaiba: Analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, stimulant (circulatory and pulmonary systems).

* Not all oils or oil companies are the same! Young Living oils are THE ONLY oils I would trust with internal use! Occasionally an oil will feel "hot", if this happens, or you get an oil in your eye, add a carrier oil to dilute it, NEVER water, remember oil and water don't mix! A good carrier oil could be Young Living's V6 oil or something you cook with like olive or coconut oil.

All information for education use only. I can not treat, diagnose or prescribe. All information is taken from the Essential Oil desk Reference.
