TIP
Tuesday!
Featuring Myrtle
on Tuesday 8.12.14
TIP 1: Apply this oil to the throat, lower back and lower abdomen to help balance the thyroid and the ovaries. To help the Myrtle do its job better, add two drops of Cedarwood on the back and a drop on each side of the head.
TIP 2: Inhaling this oil can be uplifting, especially when in meditation and prayer.
TIP 3: Myrtle is supportive of the respiratory system and can help you just as you would use Eucalyptus.
TIP 4: Myrtle can be used in mouthwashes, since it makes the gums contract and strengthen their grip on the teeth.
TIP 5: Due to Myrtle's properties of being a strong a germicidal, bactericidal, anti-viral and fungicide, it battles infections effectively!
Properties of Myrtle: antiseptic, astringent, deodorant, expectorant, nervine, germicidal, antibacterial, anti-viral, fungicide and sedative
* Not all oils or oil companies are the same! Young Living oils are THE ONLY oils I would trust with internal use! Occasionally an oil will feel "hot", if this happens, or you get an oil in your eye, add a carrier oil to dilute it, NEVER water, remember oil and water don't mix! A good carrier oil could be Young Living's V6 oil or something you cook with like olive or coconut oil.
